New focal points, new halls, new security: From 25th-28th September 2018, the world's leading trade fair for security will take place in the exhibition halls of Messe Essen. More than 1,000 exhibitors will present their civil security products and solutions in six overarching theme worlds. One of them: WAGNER Group displaying modern solutions for fire protection.
Versatile application areas for fire protection systems from WAGNER
On land, on water and in the air: the security presents itself diverse this year. The portfolio of fire protection solutions of the WAGNER Group is no less broadly positioned. For more than 40 years, the internationally positioned family-owned company has been realizing technical fire protection systems that are used in a wide variety of areas: from warehouse/logistics, IT and data centres to theatres and museums, wind turbines, ships, rail vehicles and even in the international space station ISS.
Fire protection for data centres is a highlight
Highlight at the WAGNER booth is an innovative, new fire protection solution for data centres at the highest security level - which offers an alternative to switching off the power in the event of fire. The two-stage concept intelligently combines several WAGNER systems. In addition to the very early fire detection and gas extinguishing with nitrogen, it also includes an indefinite long hold time of the extinguishing concentration at different protection levels, the regular check of the air tightness of a room and the refilling of the gas extinguishing cylinders with nitrogen directly on-site.
Air sampling smoke detectors become the standard for early fire detection
The proven TITANUS® air sampling smoke detectors will also be on display. TITANUS TOP·SENS®, for example, protects the famous Elbphilharmonic Concert Hall in Hamburg. The detectors have established themselves as standard in early fire detection and prove themselves both where, for example, the architecture makes high aesthetic demands but also in the most difficult areas of application.

Furthermore, interested parties will find information about firefighting with the FirExting® gas extinguishing system and the VisuLAN® hazard management system. The live presentation of the active fire prevention system OxyReduct® is particularly impressive. In the OxyReduct® cabin visitors can test interactively how controlled oxygen reduction prevents a fire.
