WAGNER at LogiMAT 2022

02-05-2022

From May 31 to June 02, 2022, WAGNER will present two highlights at LogiMAT, the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management in Stuttgart: Fire protection solutions for extremely compact and automated compact storage systems and for the storage of lithium-ion batteries, illustrated by the example of the customer project KETTLER Alu-Rad GmbH. In a panel discussion organized by LOGISTIK HEUTE magazine, Managing Director Dipl.-Ing. Werner Wagner will discuss "Logistics real estate: fire protection and intralogistics" with experts from logistics and logistics real estate practice.

Langenhagen. Uninterrupted supply chains, internal flow of goods: These are two of the topics that will be in focus at LogiMAT 2022 this year in Stuttgart. The importance of suitable fire protection will be presented by fire protection solution provider WAGNER from May 31 to June 2, 2022 at their booth C15 in Hall 7.

This year's trade fair highlights at WAGNER include solutions for the protection of automated compact storage systems and for the safe storage of lithium-ion batteries. Characteristic of the so-called automated compact storage systems, in addition to the high degree of automation, is an extremely compact design, which makes targeted fire extinguishing with conventional extinguishing agents difficult. "These storage systems are now indispensable in the course of advancing automation in the storage and logistics sector. We are receiving more and more inquiries for fire protection solutions for this type of storage and are pleased to be able to offer our customers a suitable and efficient solution with our systems for active fire prevention in combination with fire detection," says Dipl.-Ing. Steffen Springer, Managing Director, WAGNER Group GmbH. The storage of lithium-ion batteries places special demands on fire protection. In addition to the number of batteries stored, the battery charge level and necessary safety distances between batteries are particularly important aspects to consider. "Fire protection for the storage of lithium-ion batteries is always an individual solution, because diverse factors are of decisive importance in varying degrees. At LogiMAT 2022, we will address precisely this and show, among other things, how we have developed the optimal solution for our customer KETTLER Alu-Rad GmbH," Steffen Springer explains further.

In addition to these two highlights, visitors to LogiMAT 2022 will also have the opportunity to learn about fire protection solutions for other storage systems such as high-bay warehouses, deep freeze storage or shuttle systems. Trade fair visitors can experience how the principle of active fire prevention by means of oxygen reduction works live in an OxyReduct® cabin at the booth.

"Logistics Real Estate: Fire Protection and Intralogistics - How to Efficiently Combine Concepts for Fire Protection and Intralogistics" is the topic of the specialist forum in the conference program at LogiMAT 2022. On May 31, starting at 1 p.m., Dipl.-Ing. Werner Wagner, Managing Director and shareholder of WAGNER Group GmbH, will discuss with experts from logistics and logistics real estate practice how fire protection solutions and high-performance intralogistics concepts can be efficiently linked and what role the increasingly important storage of lithium-ion batteries plays in this. The specialist forum is organized by the industry magazine LOGISTIK HEUTE; Editor-in-Chief Matthias Pieringer will be moderating this event.
