WAGNER Poland Sp. z o.o. has officially been certified as a maintenance and goods supplier for PKP Intercity S.A., a leading company in Polish long-distance passenger transportation.
PKP Intercity S.A. is part of the PKP Group (Polskie Koleje Państwowe), a railroad company based in Warsaw that specializes in long-distance passenger transportation. PKP Intercity operates around 400 long-distance trains of various categories, including the high-speed Express InterCity Premium and EuroNight trains. These trains connect large cities and smaller towns in Poland, as well as international destinations such as Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic.

WAGNER's certification initially includes supplying components for new projects and maintaining WAGNER fire protection systems already installed in over 100 passenger coaches and around 15 locomotives of PKP Intercity.
This certification demonstrates PKP's confidence in the quality and reliability of our systems and services. It enables us to work directly with PKP Intercity on service assignments and retrofit projects. This provides a reliable basis for new joint projects and better market access to rail transport in Poland. This agreement will further improve fire protection in Polish rail transport.
