Langenhagen. On June 22, at the NFPA trade show in Las Vegas (USA), WAGNER will unveil its new TITANUS REX ® aspirating smoke detector to the international public for the first time. The latest generation of the proven TITANUS® product family builds on many years of experience in fire detection and has been fundamentally redesigned through targeted innovations in key functions. The VdS-certified TITANUS REX ® combines high-level sensitivity, modularity, and end-to-end digitalization. This technology, optimized for energy efficiency, ensures particularly resource-efficient operation and supports modern, sustainability-oriented security solutions. Users’ business continuity is also ensured by unprecedented immunity to nuisance alarms. Additional product certifications, such as UL and AFNOR, are expected shortly.

At the technological heart of TITANUS REX ® lies the new W1 technology. This technology combines highly sensitive detection of smoke particles with intelligent signal processing. The technologically advanced fire pattern recognition system LOGIC·SENS ® PLUS accurately evaluates the data in the context of ambient conditions. This enables particularly early fire detection while providing a high degree of immunity to nuisance alarms.
The system’s operation has also been consistently optimized. TITANUS REX ® is highly energy-efficient. Its specialized sensor technology and modern, energy-efficient components reduce power consumption and allow the power supply to be sized according to actual needs. For operators, this means reliable, stable fire detection combined with resource-efficient operation.
Interconnected, smart software solutions such as TITANUS PipeXpress® PLUS and TITANUS® ServiceXpress support the smooth planning, commissioning, and maintenance of TITANUS REX ®. Wizard-guided workflows ensure that project planning complies with standards.
The new aspirating smoke detector features a modular design, making it flexible and versatile. With the three variants TITANUS REX ® 30, TITANUS REX ® 50, and TITANUS REX ® 70, there is a tailor-made solution for every application: from deep-freeze areas with temperatures as low as -32°C to highly sensitive environments, and from smaller areas of coverage such as elevator shafts to modern, very large hyperscale data centers. The compact design and quiet operation also allow for unobtrusive integration into a wide range of environments.
In addition to its debut at the NFPA in Las Vegas, WAGNER is also presenting TITANUS REX ® to European industry professionals this week at the FeuerTrutz trade show in Nuremberg.
The TITANUS REX ® aspirating smoke detector is VdS-certified (certification number G225018) and combines maximum sensitivity and false-alarm resistance with smart digital solutions.
