Querdenker Award: WAGNER is in the finals - vote for us now!

The WAGNER-designed OxyReduct® active fire prevention system uses an innovative approach: why put out a fire when you can prevent it from happening in the first place? The functional principle is as simple as it is brilliant: the OxyReduct® protection concept involves reducing oxygen concentrations in the air using a controlled supply of nitrogen. This withdraws the supportive energy an incipient fire needs to spread. Fires never occur in the first place, or their development is reliably prevented.

This innovative concept has won over the prominent members of the Querdenker (Maverick) Awards jury: the Langenhagen-based fire protection specialists are in the finals for this year’s awards in the category of Innovation. The Querdenker (Maverick) Award recognises products, inventions and technologies from all industries that are exceptionally trend- and future-oriented. The product’s innovative power is a particularly important criterion. Many prominent guests will be attending the awards ceremony, which will take place at BMW World in Munich on November 25, 2015. Prizes will be awarded in six categories: Innovation, Green, Top Manager, Excellence in Design, and Enterprise.

The prize is awarded by the Querdenker Club, an innovation network for business and industry with 350,000 interdisciplinary decision-makers and creative mind.
