15 years of WAGNER Poland

20-10-2023

As part of its growth offensive, fire protection solutions provider WAGNER founded its subsidiary in Poland in 2008. WAGNER Poland Sp.zo.o. is thus celebrating its 15th anniversary this year and can already look back on numerous major fire protection projects.

Ireneusz Bruski has been responsible for the company subsidiary as Managing Director for more than 4 years. His main focus is on the implementation of the corporate strategy in Europe for the sales regions of Poland and the Baltic States. "Regardless of the industry or business field, the protection of goods, values, processes, people and the environment from fires and consequential fire damage is close to the hearts of all companies and institutions. Our customers make a very conscious decision to choose the better solution in fire protection. Thanks to our comprehensive system portfolio, from fire detection to active fire prevention through oxygen reduction, we protect companies holistically with the solutions we develop," says Bruski.

In recent years, Poland has developed into an important center for the warehousing and logistics sector in Europe. The reasons for this are in particular the favorable geographical location and the well-developed transport infrastructure. Increasing investments, automation, modernization as well as the e-commerce boom favored by the pandemic led to considerable growth in the logistics sector. The managing director of WAGNER Poland therefore sees a significantly increased need for fire protection solutions in the area of compact and highly automated logistics: "Especially in this sector, holistic fire protection is essential, as the electrics in automation systems as well as the extreme density of goods pose an increased fire risk. In the industry, WAGNER Poland has now become a valued partner for many companies. Our OxyReduct® and early fire detection systems are now used in many large, internationally renowned companies." Beyond logistics, well-known companies and institutions are also among WAGNER Poland's customers and partners.

Ireneusz Bruski is particularly proud of his dedicated team: "My colleagues sometimes manage considerable organizational challenges. In one case, for example, we were able to implement a complete plant conversion in the course of expanding from one to two warehouses within 12 hours - and thus protect the affected areas without extended downtimes."

Andreas Schober, Division Manager Europe at WAGNER Group GmbH looks back on a successful development of the Polish subsidiary: "In addition to Poland, WAGNER Poland also serves the Baltic States and thus covers the North-East axis in Europe, which is important for us. Ireneusz Bruski and his team repeatedly achieve excellent results in this emerging growth market. In the last four fiscal years alone, the company has seen an extraordinary 210% increase in operating profit."

Dipl.-Ing. Werner Wagner, founder and managing director of the WAGNER Group, is pleased with the subsidiary's great commitment and growth. "WAGNER Poland is an important pillar for us in the European market. The company makes an important contribution to the successful development of our group of companies and, of course, to the protection of the company, people and the environment. Congratulations on its 15th birthday to the entire team."
